Jack's Journal: Memorable Moments

I wanted to track all the cute things about Jack so I don't forget! Here are a few....

He is currently 16 months old and weighs 26 pounds
He goes to daycare three days a week (Monday-Wednesday) and loves his classmates. He's had the same friends since he was three months old! Isabella, Benjamin, Jack R., Jonah and Jola are thick as thieves

He's starting to really understand things. Check out this video...he knows what the decal says above his crib

His favorite foods including eggs, butternut squash and yogurt
He's starting to give real, legitimate and loving hugs. If you ask for one, he'll run over and give you one
He says Dada. A lot. Mama. A little.
He loves the dogs and wants to pet them constantly. They're not so into it
He loves to walk, run and climb. He's never met a set of stairs he didn't like (His doctor told us a lot of Manhattan children are behind in the skill because we all live in apartments without stairs. Luckily for Jack, we have two sets of stairs to help the dogs get on the couch and on the bed :-)

He LOVES his bath and washing his hands. It's so funny! If mama is washing her hands, he'll bounce up and down and squeal until he can do it too

He goes to bed at 7:30 am and gets up anywhere from 5:45-7 am. He takes a two hour nap--almost like clockwork from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm
He gets to to to the park (Riverside or Central) or a neighborhood playground nearly everyday
He can blow kisses
His favorite song is "Wheels on the Bus" and he likes to move his fingers back and forth when we say the "Wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish..."
He loves saying "hi" and waving to people. We do it every morning and every night from our living room window that looks out over the Upper West Side. When people get on our elevator, he'll often tell them "hi!"

And I know this is silly, but he has one little freckle on his right arm that I think is just the cutest thing ever
